One of the Bay Area’s finest cultural attractions, the Sanchez Art Center provides numerous exhibitions by both celebrated and emerging California artists. The center also offers education and outreach programs designed to make art accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally, affordable studio space is available for Bay Area artists.
Started in 1996 by a group of local artists and residents who leased an abandoned elementary school that was later converted to the Sanchez Art Center, the center is a nonprofit organization that strives to “create community through art.”
Don’t miss the artistic achievements of incredible California artists when you’re in the Pacifica area—make it a point to visit the Sanchez Art Center.
